Create Courses

Creating engaging courses in EleWave Learn is a breeze. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. From the EleWave Learn app home page in Slack, click "Add Course."
  2. Enter a descriptive title for your course.
  3. Add a concise and informative description that outlines the course objectives and key takeaways.
  4. Optionally, categorize your course to keep your content organized.
  5. Start adding chapters and learning activities (see the next section for more details).
  6. Once you're finished, click "Ready for review". After that, it will take a bit of time, depending on your course size to make your course available for a reviwer inside your company (Role based, usually admins) to publish the course, so it will be available to everyone in your company.

Chapters & Activities

Structure your courses with chapters to break down complex topics into manageable units. Within each chapter, you can add a variety of learning activities:

  • Videos: Upload engaging video lessons to deliver key concepts.
  • Text Documents: Provide supplementary reading materials or in-depth explanations.

Private Courses

By default, courses created in EleWave Learn are private. This means they are only accessible to members within your company's Slack workspace. Private courses are ideal for:

  • Onboarding new employees
  • Delivering company-specific training
  • Sharing confidential information
  • Conducting internal training programs

Public Courses

EleWave Learn also offers a marketplace of public courses curated by industry experts. These courses cover a wide range of topics and can be a valuable resource for your team's development.

To explore public courses, navigate to the "Public Courses" tab in the Elewave Learn dashboard.

Import Public Courses

Enhance your company's learning library by importing public courses from the EleWave marketplace.

  1. Browse the public course marketplace and select the courses you want to import. (Will be done by your L&D expert or your team admin)
  2. Click the "Import" button next to the chosen courses.
  3. The imported courses will appear in your company's EleWave Learn course list, ready to be enrolled by learners in your Slack workspace.
